Luna2 studiotel opened in April 2013 in fashionable Seminyak, Bali. Uniquely known as a ‘studiotel’, this ultra-modern hotel features super-spacious studio rooms and intimate public spaces. Luna2 offers superstar levels of service and stellar standards of wining & dining, lounging & sleeping.
Award-winning Orbit restaurant, with world-class wine list, features signature Lunafood – In keeping with the Luna2 ethos of “Respecting the past, welcoming the future and having fun in the process”, the Head Chef recalls and reinvents classic European recipes, using the finest locally available ingredients, then fuels them with innovation, imagination and a touch of fun. Descend the spiral staircase from Orbit to underground ‘groovy-baby’ Pop! lounge bar. Pass through Pop! to ultra-plush Lunaplex 16-seat cinema, with daily showings – a cool combo of nostalgic classics and new releases.
Ascend up four floors to Space rooftop bar for sunset champagne & cocktails to kill for, with the ultimate panoramic ocean view. Outdoor, the 25m Mondrian-ic colour-blocked lap pool is the ultimate escape, with sun loungers for catching rays or relaxing with poolside spa treatments.
In contrast with the ubiquitous ‘modern Bali’ style, Luna2 “Resembles what a ‘hotel of the future’ may have looked like in the 1960’s”, according to Condé Nast Traveller.

Orbit restaurant
Orbit restaurant overlooks the pool through a somewhat futuristic ‘bubble’ dining window. Seating just 24 people, this is a truly intimate and sophisticated dining oasis, within the chaos of Seminyak!
With tributes to the late 50’s/ early 60’s, Orbit restaurant’s fresh white space bursts with accents of sunflower yellow; nostalgic black & white hounds-tooth fabric adorns modular banquette sofas, paired with white carrara-topped marble dining tables and Cassina by Philippe Starck white leather dining chairs.
With an extensive wine list with over 150 labels from around the world, Orbit restaurant is one of a select group of restaurants worldwide to be honoured with Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence, five years in a row.
Pop! lounge bar
Pop down the spiral staircase from Orbit restaurant into this underground ‘groovy-baby’ designer den.
With retro shades of purple, shocking pink, ‘Pan Am’ turquoise, post-box red and silver, from the sunken ‘circle of love’ right down to the illuminated dance floor, the DJ plays Lunatunes to suit the mood until the early hours of the morning. Pop! lounge bar eclipses all others with its avant-garde design, understated decadence and uninhibited attitude.
Lunaplex
Pass through Pop! underground lounge bar to Bali’s only private cinema – Lunaplex. This ultra-plush 16-seat cinema has two showings per day, seven days a week, presenting a combination of nostalgic classics and new releases. Movie’s suitable for grown up’s, tweens, teens and little ones!
The hottest ticket in town, this unique Bond-esque cinema has ultra-cosy lounge chairs and Lunafood to suit the mood. Guests can sit back, relax and enjoy the movie, while the Lunaplex attendant serves popcorn, champagne, popcorn-infused cocktails, and foie gras ‘bling dogs’.
Equipped with a state-of-the-art AV system, Lunaplex is ideal for corporate events or birthday/anniversary video presentations, to name but a few possibilities.

Ascend to Space rooftop bar, on the top of Luna2, for champagne & cocktails to kill for, with canapés & oysters and the ultimate panoramic ocean view.
Space rooftop bar is Bali’s most exclusive rooftop bar and the ultimate destination to relax and enjoy sunset cocktails, an intimate soirée, special birthday or celebratory dinner with unbeatable views of Seminyak beach and beyond.
